CVA study fund supports training in animal welfare

To strengthen the technical expertise in animal welfare at the KVAFSU-CVA Animal Welfare Research Center in Bangalore a two-week training programme focusing on acquiring knowledge and skills regarding the latest developments in animal welfare was provided to two faculty members, Dr. Vivek M. Patil and Dr. Mahadevappa D. Gouri. The training took place at the Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education (JMICAWE), The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh. Our thanks also go to Prof. Cathy Dwyer, Director, JMICAWE, for helping design the training programme, and to the Open Philanthropy Project for providing financial assistance.
