Vegetarian, Indian Food is my favourite food.

Indian music is my favourite music.

Hockey is my favourite sport.
Q4. Tell up in a paragraph what your current veterinary position is.
I am in Government service in state of Haryana, in India. I am posted as Registrar, Haryana Veterinary Council, a statutory body responsible for legislation, implementation of Indian Veterinary Council Act, continuance education programme and organisation of seminars, conferences and workshops. I am President of Indian Veterinary Association, Chairman, Editorial Board Indian Veterinary Journal and President Pashu Chikitsak Mahasangh (PCM), National level Veterinary Service Association of India. I am involved in various welfare programmes for the veterinarians.
Q5. What influenced you to become a veterinarian?
Frankly speaking I became a Veterinarian after I failed to get into Medical stream.
Q6. What do you enjoy most about being a veterinarian?
The most thing that i enjoy being a veterinarian is that it is highly satisfactory to serve a mute animal and relieve the animals of their suffering.
Q7. What are some of the main challenges for you and your national veterinary association?
The main challenges for our National Veterinary Association are projecting the demands of the veterinarians at National and State Level Governments. Our priorities are up-dation of the knowledge of veterinarians and inculcating the sense of unity among the fraternity of the veterinarians.
Q8. How do you communicate to your organisation about the CVA and its activities?
We communicate among the veterinarians through emails, discussion in seminars meetings and conferences.
Q9. How do you think the CVA can assist you in your Councillor Role?
CVA can assist my Councillor role by active support in professional efficiency development programmes and foreign visit programmes for the veterinarians of India.
